Work In Your Area - Planning Phase

Knob Hill Drive, Ward Road to Pine Tree Drive 

This project will install approximately 560 feet of new 8” water main in an easement area between Pine Tree Drive and Ward Road in Vanderburgh County, connecting an existing dead end main on Knob Hill Drive to an existing water main on Ward Road.  The purpose of the project is to improve water distribution and quality in and around the project area. 

Construction is anticipated in 2025.

Oak Hill Road, St. George Road to Eastwood Avenue 

The proposed improvements include the relocation of approximately 4,900 feet of water main along Oak Hill Road between St. George Road and Eastwood Drive as part of the multiple phase road improvements  project by the Vanderburgh County Engineers Office.  The project is expected to include new fire hydrants, gate valves and  service connections.  Approximately 4,850 feet of existing water main will be abandoned upon completion of the improvements.

Construction is anticipated in 2026.

Oak Hill Road, Lynch Road to St. George Road 

The proposed improvements include the relocation of approximately 6,080 feet of water main along Oak Hill Road between Lynch Road and St. George Road as part of the multiple phase road improvements  project by the Vanderburgh County Engineers Office.  The project is expected to include approximately seven fire hydrants, eight gate valves, and sixty-eight service connections.  Approximately 6,040 feet of existing water main will be abandoned upon completion of the improvements.

Construction is anticipated in 2025.

Brookside Drive, Washington Avenue to Rotherwood Avenue

This project includes the installation of 1,150 feet of 8” water main along Brookside Drive to connect two previously replaced sections of water main between Washington and Rotherwood.  The project will allow the retirement of approximately 2,010 feet of existing aging water main and will include new fire hydrant assemblies and new water service connections. 

Construction is anticipated in 2026.
