Oak Hill Road, St. George Road to Eastwood Avenue
The proposed improvements include the relocation of approximately 4,900 feet of water main along Oak Hill Road between St. George Road and Eastwood Drive as part of the multiple phase road improvements project by the Vanderburgh County Engineers Office. The project is expected to include new fire hydrants, gate valves and service connections. Approximately 4,850 feet of existing water main will be abandoned upon completion of the improvements.
Construction is anticipated in 2028.
Governor, Canal to Delaware
The proposed improvements include the replacement of approximately 4,540 feet of water main along Governor Street between Delaware Street and Canal Street. The project will include new fire hydrants, gate valves and service connections. Approximately 4,730 feet of existing water main will be abandoned upon completion of the project.
Construction is anticipated in 2029.
Downtown area between MLK Blvd and Morton Ave.
(North of Walnut)
The proposed improvements include the replacement of approximately 14,660 feet of water main along Vine Street east of MLK, 10th Street, Main Street from 9th to Lloyd, Pasco Avenue, John Street from Main to S. Morton, S. Heidelbach Avenue, Olive Street, S. Garvin north of Sycamore, Elliot at Sycamore, and S. Morton from John to Sycamore. The project will include new fire hydrants, gate valves and service connections. Approximately 14,450 feet of existing water main will be abandoned upon completion of the project.
Construction is anticipated in 2030.
Ohio Street and Adjacent Roads
The proposed improvements include the replacement of approximately 5,270 feet of water main along Ohio Street from Pigeon Creek to St. Joseph Avenue. The project will include new fire hydrants, gate valves and service connections. Approximately 4,200 feet of existing water main will be abandoned upon completion of the project.
Construction is anticipated in 2030.
Pennsylvania Street and Adjacent Roads
The proposed improvements include the replacement of approximately 12,580 feet of water main in the area between Barker, Lemcke, Pennsylvania, and Claremont. The project will include new fire hydrants, gate valves and service connections. Approximately 12,820 feet of existing water main will be abandoned upon completion of the project.
Construction is anticipated in 2030.
Petersburg Road, Senate Avenue to US 41
The proposed improvements include the replacement of approximately 6,420 feet of water main along Petersburg Road from Senate Ave. to US 41. The project will include new fire hydrants, gate valves and service connections. Approximately 6,110 feet of existing water main will be abandoned upon completion of the project.
Construction is anticipated in 2027.
Stallings US 41 Crossing and Connection to 36" Main
The proposed improvements include establishing a connection of existing 20" water main on the east side of US 41 with the existing 36" water on the west side of US 41 at the Stallings Booster Station between Mount Pleasant and Hwy 57.
Construction is anticipated in 2027.
Mill Road, West of St. Joseph Ave.
The proposed improvements include the replacement of approximately 4,370 feet of water main along Mill Road west of North St. Joseph Avenue. The project will include new fire hydrants, gate valves and service connections. Approximately 4,850 feet of existing water main will be abandoned upon completion of the project.
Construction is anticipated in 2029.
