Project Update

• Recent Progress (February 8 to February 14)

  • Blankenberger completed the installation of the new 12” C900 PVC water man on Ohio Street between 9th Avenue and the CSX Railroad Crossing.

  • Blankenberger performed hydrostatic testing and chlorinated the new 12” C900 PVC water man on Ohio Street between 9th Avenue and the CSX Railroad Crossing.

  • Blankenberger activated the new 12” C900 PVC water main on St. Joseph Avenue between Indiana Street and Illinois Street.

  • Blankenberger installed new ¾”-1” water service connections on St. Joseph Avenue between Indiana Street and Illinois Street.

  • Blankenberger completed the connection of the new 24” ductile iron water main to the existing 24” and 6” water mains at the intersection of Indiana Street and 12th Avenue.

  • Blankenberger installed new water pressure reducing valves and tandem water meter setters on Leslie Avenue.

  • Blankenberger chlorinated the new 12” C900 PVC water main on Indiana Street between           St. Joseph Avenue and Lemcke Avenue.

  • Blankenberger verified existing utilities at the intersection of Ohio Street and 9th Avenue.

• Anticipated Activities for Upcoming Week (February 15 to February 21) 

  • Blankenberger intends to install HMA pavement restoration on St. Joseph Avenue between Indiana Street and Illinois Street.

  • Blankenberger intends to connect the new 12” C900 PVC water main to the existing 12” water main on St. Joseph Avenue between Indiana Street and Illinois Street.

  • Blankenberger intends to complete Phase 4 and Phase 5 of the Igleheart to Leslie Construction Sequencing.

  • Blankenberger intends to activate the new 12” C900 PVC water main on Indiana Street between St. Joseph Avenue and Lemcke Avenue, pending the results of water quality sampling.

  • Blankenberger intends to begin installing new water service connections on Indiana Street between St. Joseph Avenue and Lemcke Avenue, pending the results of water quality sampling.
