SR 62 from Tekoppel to Wabash

​This project involves the installation of 1,260 LF of 8", 3,710 LF of 12", and 2,940 LF of 24" water main from Tekoppel to 9th Avenue. This relocation is in preparation for road improvements planned for this area as part of the Lloyd4U project.

Project Update

  • Recent Progress (July 26 to August 1)

    • Blankenberger pigged the new 24” ductile iron water main on St. Joseph Avenue between Indiana Street and Ohio Street.

    • Blankenberger performed hydrostatic testing of the new 24” ductile iron water main on St. Joseph Avenue between Indiana Street and Ohio Street.

    • Blankenberger re-chlorinated the new 24” ductile iron water main on St. Joseph Avenue between Indiana Street and Ohio Street.

    • Deig Brothers activated the new water service to Mead Johnson on Lemcke Avenue south of Lloyd Expressway.

  • Anticipated Activities for Upcoming Week (August 2 to August 8) 

    • Blankenberger intends to activate the new 24” ductile iron water main on St. Joseph Avenue between Indiana Street and Ohio Street, pending the results of water quality sampling.
