SR 62 from Tekoppel to Wabash

​This project involves the installation of 1,260 LF of 8", 3,710 LF of 12", and 2,940 LF of 24" water main from Tekoppel to 9th Avenue. This relocation is in preparation for road improvements planned for this area as part of the Lloyd4U project.

Project Update

  • Recent Progress (October 18 to October 24)

    • Road Safe installed pavement markings on Ohio Street, Franklin Street, and Mt. Vernon Street.

    • Blankenberger installed concrete curb and sidewalk at the intersection of Ohio St. and 9th St.

    • Blankenberger began installing HMA base on 9th St. between Ohio St. and Pennsylvania St.

    • Blankenberger performed grading and restoration work on Pennsylvania St. between 9th St. and Wabash Ave.

  • Anticipated Activities for Upcoming Week (October 25 to October 31) 

    • Blankenberger intends to complete grout filling and water main abandonment on Pennsylvania Street between 9th Street and Wabash Avenue, and on 9th Street between Pennsylvania Street and Indiana Street.

    • Blankenberger intends to continue performing concrete and HMA restoration on 9th Street between Ohio Street and Indiana Street.

    • Blankenberger intends to complete the installation of storm sewer inlet STR. No. 29.
