Lloyd4U R-42287 Water Main Relocations
(Red Bank Road, Boehne Camp Road, and Schutte Road) 

These relocations are in preparation for road improvements planned for this area as part of the Lloyd4U project. 

Red Bank Road: This involves the replacement of 12" water main with 1170 LF of 12" from University Drive to Pearl Drive and 210 LF of 8" across Red Bank Road south of SR 62.

Boehne Camp Road: This involves the replacement of 8" water main with 920 LF of 12" and 50 LF of 8" from Calle De Oro to S. Boehne Camp Road.

Schutte Road: This involves the replacement of 8" and 12" water main with 1330 LF of 12" water main from West Vernon Drive to Mahrenholz Road.

Project Update

  • Recent Progress (August 25 to August 31)

    • Koberstein activated the 12” PVC C-900 water main on North Red Bank Road.

    • Koberstein completed water service relocations on North Red Bank Road.

    • Koberstein completed final main connections on North Red Bank Road.

    • Koberstein continued installation of the 8” C-900 water main in the Southeast corner of the Lloyd Expressway and Red Bank Road (Access Road).

    • Koberstein and Edwards Concrete grout filled the abandoned 8” water main on Boehne Camp.

    • E&B Paving completed installation of HMA base on North Red Bank Road and Boehne Camp.

    • Snyder Construction completed installation of the 24” steel casing at Schutte Road via jack and bore.

  • Anticipated Activities for Upcoming Week (September 1 to September 7) 

    • Koberstein intends to continue installation of the 8” C-900 water main in the Southeast corner of the Lloyd Expressway and Red Bank Road.

    • E&B Paving intends to begin installation of HMA Surface on North Red Bank Road and Boehne Camp.
