Oak Hill, Lynch to St. George 

The proposed improvements include the relocation of approximately 6,080 feet of water main along Oak Hill Road between Lynch Road and St. George Road as part of the multiple phase road improvements  project by the Vanderburgh County Engineers Office.  The project is expected to include approximately seven fire hydrants, eight gate valves, and sixty-eight service connections.  Approximately 6,040 feet of existing water main will be abandoned upon completion of the improvements.

Project Update
  • Recent Progress (May 10 to May 16)

    • Blankenberger began installing new 8” C900 PVC water main on Oak Hill Road between Eastbrook Drive and Aspen Drive.

    • Blankenberger re-chlorinated the new 8” C900 PVC water main on Oak Hill Road between Lynch Road and Elmridge Drive.

  • Anticipated Activities for Upcoming Week (May 17 to May 23) 

    • Blankenberger intends to continue installing new 8” C900 PVC water main on Oak Hill Road between Eastbrook Drive and Aspen Drive.

    • Blankenberger intends to activate the new 8” C900 PVC water main on Oak Hill Road between Lynch Road and Elmridge Drive, pending the results of water quality sampling.

    • Blankenberger intends to begin installing new ¾”-1” water service connection on Oak Hill Road between Lynch Road and Elmridge Drive, pending the results of water quality sampling.

Project Schedule

  • Water main installation is expected to take place from 3/23/26 to 9/4/26.
