First Avenue Water Main Replacement

This project is estimated to include 7,900 feet of new 4” to 36” water main pipe and related improvements throughout the project area, which consists of First Avenue, between Morgan Avenue and Colonial Avenue, and along the railroad tracks west of First Avenue, near Morgan Avenue.

Recent Progress (March 28 to April 3) 

  • MAC verified the dimensions of the existing large diameter water main at the project limits. 

Anticipated Activities for Upcoming Week (April 4 to April 10) 

  • Wide Open West is anticipated to begin the relocating the fiber optic service to Bootz Industries 
    at the intersection of Third Avenue and the CSX Corridor.  

  • No other activities anticipated onsite.
